1949 Foundation of Alfred M. Meinert GmbH in Esslingen / Wäldenbronn
1967 Relocation of the company to Ostfildern
1978 Company´s succession after death of founder Alfred M. Meinert by his sons Rolf and Jürgen Meinert
1995 ARCUS Kabeltechnik is found by two entrepreneurs named Burkhard Schmidt and Rolf Meinert with the aim of producing cable harnesses for the Domestic Appliance Industry at a high technical standard. For economic reasons ARCUS established its administration headquarters in Ostfildern, near Stuttgart, where the associate company Meinert Signaltechnik is headquartered.
1996 For the time being ARCUS has just been a lengthen workbench of Electrolux. To be in close proximity to our customers we rented an assembly shop by 1.800 sqm of usable floor-space at the area of Electrolux in Herborn.
2001 Due to the good performance the company was able to move in a bigger and more modern building with a capacity of 3.800 sqm.
2003 After continuous growth in past years, ARCUS/MEINERT nowadays operates with 100 employees. Its main market is the Domestic Appliance Industry in Germany, but the company also serves clients in Europe.
2004 The site Ostfildern is being approved according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. MEINERT Signaltechnik purchases the former Polish supplier TZK. By the foundation of the affiliated company MEINERT Sp. z o.o. neon assemblies and cables harnesses are being produced at the new Polish production site as well.
2005 ARCUS/MEINERT is a dedicated service provider, whose aim is to provide an exemplary service and outstanding quality in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The quality management system in Herborn has been certified this year.
2007 Approval of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 at MEINERT Sp. z o.o. in Jelenia Gora. Rebranding of Alfred M. Meinert GmbH in ARCUS components GmbH. Establishment of the common website www.arcus-comp.com.
2009 60th anniversary of our company and extension of Polish prodution site to 1.000 m²
2010 Move in new production building in Jelenia Gora, Poland
2011 Expansion of floor space in Jelenia Gora up to 2.000 m²
